FUn beautiful stylized drawings!!
GOOD GOD GREG these are GREAT!
I'd like to see what the pointy mustache guy looks like when he is nervous...or uncomfortble. He is nice and evil though. And I can hear him go " heh heh!" every time he stops and opens his mouth.
The monkey sitting on top of the music box and the last one with the blue bkg are my favorite monkeys. And the grinders lips (in the pea green bkg) are repulsivley hilarious.
The simplicity of the tan drawing is nice but the grinder looks bored instead of evil.
The design of the grinder standing alone is really appealing and funny looking. In general, the designs that look like giant heads with arms, legs and a mustache make me laugh and seem to have the most potential for funny expressions.
I'll play around with them to get a feel for your style and play with expression but all in all I like the direction your going with the style.
The one where he is pointing at the sign is hinting at their relationship. We need to communicate this more. Show the grinders frustration with the unenthusiastic performance of the pregnant monkey which direcly affects his finacial success.
AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...that's all...well so that it isn't misinterpreted...well, i love them all...soosoo happy to see this stuff...move it!!!

The upturned nose on th e"See the Monkey dance" is oddly phalic - but I'm sure that's intentional.
It's mean to make a monkey work when it's so pregnant.

The more I look at this the more I like the square guy...with the penis-like nose. He seems to fit the greasy, nasty nature of the character.
