Excellent question and thank you for asking! This was just a guy I happened to see on my train ride coming home from work that day after taking some acid. I highly recommend this exercise. You might think all Octoguys pretty much look alike, until you really start trying to sketch them. Each one has its own unique little details and personality. I tried to capture what made this particular one special. I hope I did him justice.

Your unbiased, open-minded view of the world in which we live in has touched me deeply. I have to admit that I was one of those people who could not tell the difference between one octoguy and the next. But you have taught me to look past the freakish eight appendeges festooned with hideous suction cups an see something beautiful. Thank God for you Mr. Scherrer. Thank God.
