What the Duck?

A fellow I went to college with has become an internet comic phenomenon. His internet comic is getting 3 or 4 thousand hits a day, and is about to reach its 100th strip milestone! To celebrate, he'll be showing some guest artist strips, and he made the mistake of asking me for one. For some reason his comic centers around a duck with a camera. If the previous strip made you hungry for ducks with cameras, and you'd like to see about 100 that are nothing like it (except for the duck and the camera), check out his website:

This week's Outsider Art Club topic was PHOBIA. There ought to be a funny scientific name for this particular phobia, but I couldn't find one.

Here's my entry of the week for the art club. This week's topic was "kids at play". I didn't find much inspiration in the topic, so I tried to be quick and doodly just to force myself to finish something.

I wanna be a bird

I've been told that when grown-ups would ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I used to say I wanted to be a bird. Unfortunately, I couldn't get into any of the good bird schools after high school, so I eventually had to fall back on the art thing.

Zombie VS Pirate

Man, zombies and pirates are such jerks to eachother, aren't they? It makes me mad just thinking about it.

This is my entry for a weekly themed art thingy called the Outsider Art Club started by some friends at work. (See link at right). I'm a week late on this entry, and technically I haven't officially been added to their blog yet, but anyway here it is.
